     Look out, San Francisco, Gretchen and Dr. Schmidtt are coming for you!   Let's face it: there's no funnier place than San Francisco. On Haight Street alone, you can taxidermy your pet rat, pay someone to write you a poem for any price, purchase a hand-made artisan tye-dyed tapestry, and save the whales with the clipboard brigade, all before you've had your (locally sourced, single origin, cruelty-free) morning coffee.   Beyond the Haight's borders, the potential for hilarity is boundless. Join us August 10th at 8pm for our 90-minute cabaret celebrating the launch of Gretchen & Dr. Scmidtt's weekly video blog. It's like all the other places you can listen to San Francisco-obsessed San Franciscans talk about how much they love talking about San Francisco, only with more clowns.    To kick things off, they'll fool around with Christin Evans, owner of Haight Street's favorite literary institution, the Booksmith.
